Dreamy. A word I openly overuse when describing wedding days – but I’m over here struggling to find any word that can describe Val + Tanner’s day except DREAMY. 

Truly – the venue (The Enchanted Barn is forever one of my favorite venues – I married there myself!), the couple, the details were all incredible. But there was something between the details – between the lines – of this day that gave it an even more magical feel. Maybe it was the rain. Maybe it was Val + Tanner themselves (I’m sure this was part of it)! But this was one of the most laidback, stress-free wedding days I’ve photographed to date, despite the forecast. The rain we were dealt on their day only helped to create a day that felt as cozy as this – from the extra twinkling lights to the sound on rain on the tin roof.

Val + Tanner’s day was everything couples dream of and a testament to the fact that rain on your wedding can be a beautiful thing, indeed.
